Strothmann will introduce the FEEDERplus™ to a worldwide audience. The handling system extends the standard motions of a press feeder through additional linear and rotary axes, allowing the Linear Robot to perform rotary motions in the B axis (the orienting axis of the rotating arm).
The FEEDERplus™ thus combines the advantages of linear and articulated robots, requiring no additional orienting or idle stations. Additionally, Strothmann will present its successful RoundTrack® system which transports a press die on an induction-powered, heavy-duty cart. The floor transport and flow production system is used in press shops, but also in aircraft, automobile and construction machinery applications, and in the production of large steel pipes.
