Wayne Trail Technologies/VIL Laser Systems will be exhibiting its FLEX LASE flexible laser processing cell. Equipped with high power, high efficiency fiber laser technology, fully flexible robot based process articulation, and a wide variety of fixture and tooling options, the Flex Lase system can rapidly change between laser cutting and laser welding modes (including robot/remote welding) by virtue of the fully automatic coupling and de-coupling of multiple laser processing heads.
Additionally, any number of laser or non-laser based 'end of arm' robot attachments can also be used within the cell, for operations such as heat treating, cladding, inspection, marking, material handling and more. The system features a one piece 'unitized' base and enclosure construction that is CDRH class 1 rated, with integral lighting, access door, fume evacuation, filtering and exhaust.
