Goudsmit Magnetic Systems BV will exhibit a recently developed magnetic sheet divider which can not only separate straight cut steel plates, but also round and bevelled ones. This renewed system can be adjusted in height and the magnetic field's spread force can easily be adjusted. Such systems are among others applied in sheet processing factories and in robotised production cells for the production of welding compounds.

Robots pick up large sheets with magnetic grippers and position these on a welding table. Because the steel sheets have been oiled, they stick together and the robot sometimes picks up two sheets at a time.
